Books:
Mountain of Mittens didn't come in on time, so we just read the first two. I would normally have picked a different book to sub, but I was out Wed-Monday with a pair of sprained ankles!



ECRR2 Activities:

• Put letters on the Chicka Chicka tree; sing ABCs (Playing & Singing)
• Letter writing practice with the dry erase boards (Writing) [Just ran out of time today!]

Craft: Kitten with Mittens

The kitten "loses" the mittens...

 and then "finds" them again.

This craft is a bit more "piecey" than I would normally do, as I like things the kids can do mostly on their own from start to finish, but the ability for the kids to retell the "Three Little Kittens" story with a prop outweighed the more "product" than "process" focus in my mind.
